It’s hard to see your little one upset, sometimes, it’s just a normal response to their every day environment, like a disagreement with a friend at school. With a little support and a bit of patience, things usually get better.

However, there are times when a child’s feelings become overwhelming and affect their daily life. They may experience sleep disturbances, changes in appetite, irritability, tiredness, and difficulty with simple tasks. This can be extremely worrying for a parent. It’s crucial to listen to them and offer a safe space for them to talk. If they prefer, they can confide in another family member.

Try going for a walk together, this can create an opportunity for them to open up to you. Let them know you are always there for them, even if they need some privacy. Together, try to find the cause of the problem and work towards a solution. Reassuring and supporting them in their daily activities is essential for their well-being.

As a parent, it’s normal to feel worried, but remember that many children go through periods of sadness that eventually pass. Just being there for them and providing emotional support can make a big difference, and if you feel it’s needed please seek professional help.

Love Eliza x[/et_pb_text][et_pb_social_media_follow use_icon_font_size=”on” icon_font_size=”34px” _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”center” custom_margin=”1em|1em|1em|1em|false|false” custom_padding=”1em|1em|1em|1em|false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_social_media_follow_network social_network=”facebook” url=”https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076805093162″ _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”#3b5998″ global_colors_info=”{}” follow_button=”off” url_new_window=”on”]facebook[/et_pb_social_media_follow_network][et_pb_social_media_follow_network social_network=”instagram” url=”https://www.instagram.com/elizabethallenbooks/” _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”#ea2c59″ global_colors_info=”{}” follow_button=”off” url_new_window=”on”]instagram[/et_pb_social_media_follow_network][/et_pb_social_media_follow][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

[5

post-140","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sadness
["GET
